Why are people not self isolating?

Right now there is something that is going on that has never gone on before. People are dying from this illness and as of right now there is no way to stop the spread. There are things to help prevent the spread, but people are struggling to follow the rules. I went out to go get food and there were tons of people within a close range of each other and its like they didn’t care about anyone else but themselves. I hope that this can be resolved soon and we can find something to spot this and return back to normal life.
